Chelsea news front line came together to give Graham Potter a key Champions League win over latest news

  Chelsea are very much still interested in signing RB Leipzig defender Joko Guardiola, according to the Daily Telegraph journalist Matt Law. Before the transfer window shut last month, the Blues reportedly had a EUR90 m (PS77.6 m) offer rejected for the Croatian international. The centre-back subsequently signed a new contract with Leipzig instead. However, it is believed that a release clause was inserted into the agreement which means Guardiola could be signed for a fee "in excess" of PS40 m (EUR45.9 m). It effectively means the Blues could save around PS38 m if they do seal the player's signature. Now a number of other teams have also been linked with the 20-year-old, including Manchester City, so it is by no means a done deal, but it appears discussions are underway which could see both Guardiola and Christopher Kunduz arrive from Leipzig next year.
